Using Inkjet printers but not cleaning properly is never been a good idea. Cleaning an inkjet printer is mandatory if you are looking to have good performance.
It is not recommended giving it a good dusting from the outside but important cleaning from inside. Firstly, you must turn off your printer and all the parts should be stopped functioning. Then, Remove the dust accumulated in printer ink cartridges area by using a dry cloth. Use a thick paper or spray it, and feed it through.
Must be aware on avoidance of all the internal circuitry, it may cause a great harm to you. Be safe and happy with your clean printer and quality printing.
