Tempted To Buy A LCD TV?

LCD (Liquid crystal display) TVs are especially tempting for people these days versus an older style tube based TV. LCD TV's futuristic look and its more vibrant colors can tempt a TV addict to spend money or spend more money they should even in the midst of the recent economic downturn.

Like old fashioned TVs an LCD television screen consists of pixels each of which can show a viewer thousands of colors. The high near photo quality on an LCD TV screen is due to the really high number of pixels on the screen. The pixels are counted from one side to the other and from top to bottom. The higher the number of pixels then the better, sharper and clearer the picture will be. It is the composition of these pixels that forms the picture displayed on a TV screen or computer monitor.  Colors may shift when viewed too far to the right or left of the screen. In newer models these problems have been corrected with the use of Led backlights among other additions or features.

Even when compared to the other main flat-panel options, an LCD TV is generally going to be thinner and lighter. This means that they are easy to move, which means easy to wall-mount as well.  LCD TVs are generally sleek and stylish, complementing approximately every type of décor.
