Canon is a multinational company and one of the top producers of digital cameras. Canon produces both point to shoot and professional digital SLR cameras. The canon powershot series is a point to shoot cameras which have become popular mainly because of their simple design and interface with robust features. Powershot cameras are the one of the most selling camera series worldwide. Powershot G is another series which is a near SLR, but still point to shoot camera. It is a prosumer photography model. Canon digital IXUS is a compact line of digital cameras. These cameras have very small physical dimension with good features and optics. EOS is a professional grade DSLR camera series. EOS was a name derived from the previous models of film SLR cameras and is still being continued for DSLR cameras of Canon. Apart from these digital cameras, Canon is one of the world leaders in producing photography lens with super zoom capabilities.
