USB Adapter for 16-bit PCMCIA Cards

Personal Computer Memory Card International Association or PCMCIA is a group of companies that defined the standard for PCMCIA cards. The goal of designing this standard was to expand computer storage. But many other devices like hard disks, modems and network adapters were made from this.

If you have a 16-bit PCMCIA card and you want to use it via a USB port, then you need a USB adapter. Various types of USB adapters are available that support both Type I and Type II cards. They use high performance micro controllers with low power consumption to enable PCMCIA card read/write access through the conversion of the USB protocol. You also need a driver for the PCMCIA card you want to use.
