It is widely recognized as the backbone to connect many other printed circuit boards or PWBs together to develop a comprehensive computer system. A drive backplane is the system that allows managing multiple hard drives to operate smoothly.
Because of their reliability, and convenient performance, they are widely used nowadays. Basically, the drive backplanes come up with two modes, namely active and passive backplanes. Both of these modes have their significant differences and advantages.
